America’s Youth are facing enormous challenges. In Baltimore, juvenile arrests are over 1,500, five percent (5%) of homicides are of Youth under the age of 18, fifty-nine percent (59%) of kids are coming to school hungry, and only 72% of students are graduating from high school. What is the solution? Agape (Greco-Christian term referring to Love)!

The Agape Youth Center is one of Baltimore’s solutions to our Youth’s challenges. We can help reduce
the rise in juvenile arrests, create avenues to protect our Youth from violence, and motivate our Youth
to strive and embrace education. The Agape Youth Center is a resource, support, and advocacy
organization for minority and “in-need” youth in the Greater Baltimore Area, exclusively for charitable,
educational, and scientific purposes.

The center will offer a safe place for Youth to receive mentorship, educational opportunities, meals, and
an environment for kids to be kids. Located on the second level of John Wesley United Methodist
Church, the Agape Youth Center has multiple rooms for engagement. "The Hub" is the information and
central site for the center, the"Computer Lab" allows Youth access to the internet for research, the
"Library" houses hardcopy books, the "Work Stations" provides an area for Youth tutoring and homework,
"Got Game" has table games such as ping-pong and pool tables, and "Game On" is a room with large screen
television video games.

To ensure success, Agape Youth Center needs support. Individual, community, and business
contributions will guarantee Agape Youth receives that support. How can you contribute:
- Provide monetary donation
- Donate equipment to the center (computers, televisions, furniture, books, etc.)
- Donate food and beverage (non-carbonated)
- Donate service (construction, painting, maintenance, etc.)
- Volunteer
